Solana Compass, Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, says Solana is activating the second SIMD-0525 slot-time cut at epoch 1024, moving the target from 350ms to 300ms. Anza posted that morning that 300ms was going effective in about 12 hours. This is step two of four toward 200ms. 200ms is not live.
