Roughly 1,200 Bitcoin entered Cardone Capital holdings last week through recurring rental cash flow purchases.

Christian Barker (Barkmeta / Bark) and David Chaboki (Shibo) sat with the Doginal Dogs pack watching Grant Cardone’s Friday line that institutions moved toward data centers while Cardone Capital kept adding coins and apartment units. The private fund move sits apart from spot Bitcoin ETF flows and other public filings.

Market Context on the Day

Bitcoin traded at $77,696 on CoinGecko around 10:34 a.m. ET Saturday, down 1.9 percent on the session. Ethereum slipped to $2,436.11, off 2.5 percent, while XRP and Dogecoin each lost about 2.3 percent. Solana held the softest decline among majors at 0.7 percent. The broader chart showed majors chopping after a week of mixed candles, with spot Bitcoin prices ranging inside recent highs.

How the Add Happened

Grant Cardone posted on X August 28 that Cardone Capital was doubling down on its multifamily and Bitcoin model by adding about 2,000 apartment units and 1,200 BTC. The $5.3 billion private funds use dollar-cost averaging that pulls recurring income from selected properties to buy Bitcoin as it moves. The firm keeps the strategy inside private vehicles for accredited investors with third-party custody and does not distribute earnings like a REIT.

Cardone Capital did not release purchase prices, exact execution dates, or which of its ten specialized funds received the coins. Prior updates showed roughly 1,000 BTC on hand in January and another 282 BTC bought near $63,000 in June. The August 28 post did not give an updated combined total.

Target and Model

The long-term goal remains 10,000 BTC across the ten funds. An earlier interim target called for 3,000 BTC by the end of 2026. Rental cash flow from the growing apartment portfolio supplies the steady buys without new investor capital calls for the Bitcoin side.

The move keeps Cardone Capital’s hybrid approach separate from public ETF products and from other corporate treasury announcements. Private custody and income retention mark the structure as distinct from listed vehicles.

Price Action Around the News

Saturday’s chart showed Bitcoin candles softening after the post hit the timeline, yet the real estate cash flow buys continued on schedule. The strategy does not time entries to daily swings and instead locks in recurring purchases regardless of short-term ranges. Majors ripped lower across the board while the private add kept moving forward on the rental income plan.

Takeaway

Cardone Capital’s latest step shows a private fund locking rental income into Bitcoin on a set cadence even as broader spot prices printed softer candles Saturday morning.
